“¡Cállate imbécil, no me voy a ir!”.

Saben cuál respuesta ofrecer a esa ceremonia.

The Devil is the Father of Lies. He is a fallen ArchAngel and still has his powers as such. He has had thousands of years to prepare for today.
My point is this: the Exorcisms mentioned in the article are most likely tricks of the Devil. It it his further work to make more protestant the Faithful, and to lead innocent preists into heresy. Here is a small arguement in favor or my opinion:
1). The prayers being used are from sentimental feelings rather than the Exorcism Prayers of Pope Leo XIII, these are the only prayers allowed by Holy Mother Church;
2). The ‘Holy Water ‘ being used is actually blessed water; things that are blessed cannot bless other things. Holy Mother Church has proper prayers for Holy Water. (see Father Gabriel Amorth, Vatican Exorcist on Holy Water and Exorcism).
3). Exorcisms are not to be public ’shows’.Casting out Satan is a very serious thing, only protestants and other heretics test God by making a public display of Catholic ritual.
There was a very famous exorcism that occured in 1928 the E.E.U.U. It took fourty years to complete. A priest has written a brief account of it entitled Begone, Satan.Mr. David St. Clair has written The Devil Rocked Her Cradle. This is a very horrible story but it details graphically the exorcism process. (it can be purchased on the internet0. Mr.St.Clair uses Vatican documents to tell the blow by blow details. It is a good book to read. After reading it,you won’t fall so easy for the tricks of Satan, and also there is some information in the story about the Devil bragging about Benito Juarez being his agent in Mexico to separate Church and State.
Pray for the Cardinal of Mexico, His Excellancy Cardinal Rivera and all the priests and nuns under his authority. And pray for the faithful, who are being led to the slaughter by Satan.
Viva Cristo Rey!
Saludos!
Dear Felipe,
Thank you for your generous response.
In the matter of Exorcism, the Saints never allowed the public to participate as if they held the authority to exorcise; only through the authority of the Holy Name is the Devil rebuked, and only by and though His Priesthood.
If there is evil in a home, or causing problems somewhere, we may use the sacramental known as Holy Water to bring us some relief, until a priest can be called in.(Holy Water may be sprinkled in the home while saying, “I bless this home in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ’).It would be a good oportunity to have the priest consecrate the home to the Sacred Heart. Also, we may use a ritual of St. Benedict; place a St. Benedict crucifix in the home and place four St. Benedict medals in the corners of the property, one in each corner, and ask St. Benedict to protect the home. This is an approved Catholic ritual.Holy Water becomes a Sacramental when the proper prayers are invoked upon the salt and the water, which are then mixed together and a third prayer of Exorcism is said over the mixture.I will try to attach an article on Holy Water to this correspondence. I hope you find it useful.
Unfortunately, we have had to learn about the Exorcism process through bitter experience over the last twenty-five years. It is very grueling. There is a phenomenon attached to matters of Faith in this area;the majority of Roman Catholics do not believe in the Exorcism process and need a big show if they are to participate. They test God.The Satanists we have dealt with know the Authority of He Who Is, and the prayer of Exorcism of Pope Leo XII and the difference between Holy Water and Blessed Water. They hate it. These are not my words, I am quoting them. One drop of proper Holy Water casts thousands of demons aside and disrupts Satan’s work.
My interest in communicating to you is to inform and nuture Roman Catholicism that when those of us are tested, we may draw upon our Faith, and the knowledge therof to be pleasing to God.God could have dropped Goliath dead in his tracks, however, He allowed David to demonstate his Faith by allowing him to fight Goliath. Those little stones did not kill Goliath, God did.All David had to do was show up.
I know that you are not in accord with my form of Roman Catholicism; my basis is this:the only opinion I have is what God has said.If He said it that is my opinion.I look to the Magesterium of Holy Mother Church for direction and obey the Church’s teachings.I have learned that seventeen popes have condemed Freemasonry, I have also read the Papal Encyclicals regarding Modernism and Heresy.I believe Pope Paul VI when he stated the smoke of Satan has entered the Church.
I firmly believe we should not stray from the Holy Sacrafice of the Mass.Shamanism, withchcraft, Satanism, and occult practices are forbidden to us whether we do them in a mud hut or in a Church building. To not adhere strictly to what Holy Mother Church commands in this area is to be disobedient.
As for the matter of the Exorcism process here in Arizona, E.E.U.U., I am looking for a writer to put together a book along the lines of Victor Villasenor’s Lluvia de Oro.I have not found someone to write this story. The Holy Water article follows:
Holy Water a Means of Spiritual Wealth
Republished on the Web from THE ANGELUS
July 1986, Volume IX, Number 7
WITH PERMISSION of the ANGELUS PRESS
Holy water is a sacramental that remits venial sin. Because of the blessing attached to it, Holy Church strongly urges its use upon her children, especially when dangers threaten, such as fire, storms, sickness and other calamities. Every Catholic home should always have a supply of holy water in it.
We do not take advantage of the benefits derived from holy water.
LET US CULTIVATE ITS USE
Untold spiritual wealth is concentrated in a tiny drop of blessed water.
And we give it so little thought!
If we would but realize now, as we shall realize after death, the many benefits which may be derived from holy water, we would use it far more frequently, and with greater faith and reverence. Holy water has its great power and efficacy from the prayers of the Church, which its Divine Founder always accepts with complacency.
Following Are Some of the Petitions The Priest Makes to God When He Blesses Water
“O God . . . grant that this creature of Thine (water) may be endowed with Divine grace to drive away devils and to cast out diseases, that whatever in the houses or possessions of the faithful may be sprinkled by this water, may be freed from everything unclean, and delivered from what is hurtful . . . Let everything that threatens the safety or peace of the dwellers therein by banished by the sprinkling of this water; so that the health which they seek by calling upon Thy Holy Name may be guarded from all assault.”
Prayers Effective
These prayers ascend to Heaven each time you take holy water and sprinkle a drop either for yourself or for another, whether he be present or absent; and God’s blessings descend for soul and body.
Dispel the Devil
The devil hates holy water because of its power over him. He cannot long abide near a person or in a place that is often sprinkled with this blessed water.
Do Your Dear Ones Live at a Distance?
Holy water, sprinkled with faith and piety, can move the Sacred Heart to bless your loved ones and protect them from all harm of soul and body. When worry and fear take possession of your heart, hasten to your holy water font, and give your dear ones the benefit of the Church’s prayers.
The Holy Souls Long For It
Only in Purgatory can one understand how ardently a poor soul longs for holy water. If we desire to make a host of intercessors for ourselves, let us try to realize now some of their yearnings, and never forget them at the holy water font. The holy souls nearest to Heaven may need the sprinkling of only one drop to relieve their pining souls.
Remits Venial Sins
Because holy water is one of the Church’s sacramentals, it remits venial sin. Keep your soul beautifully pure in God’s sight by making the Sign of the Cross carefully while saying:
“By this holy water and by Thy Precious Blood wash away all my sins, O Lord.”
Text of the Blessing
(This blessing was in official use before the reforms of Vatican II.)

Exorcism of Salt
O salt, creature of God, I exorcise you by the living God, by the true God, by the holy God, by the God who ordered you to be poured into the water by Eliseus the Prophet so that its life-giving powers might be restored. I exorcise you so that you may become a means of salvation for believers, that you may bring health of soul and body to all who make use of you, arid that you may put to flight and drive away from the places where you are sprinkled every apparition, villainy, and turn of devilish deceit, and every unclean spirit, adjured by Him Who will come to judge the living and the dead and the world by fire. Amen.
Let us pray.
Almighty and everlasting God, we humbly implore Thee, in Thy immeasurable kindness and love, to bless + and sanctify + this salt which Thou did create and give over to the use of mankind, so that it may become a source of health for the minds and bodies of all who make use of it, and may rid whatever it touches or sprinkles of all uncleanness and protect it from every assault of evil spirits. Through our Lord, Jesus Christ, Thy Son, Who lives and reigns with Thee in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. R. Amen.
Exorcism of Water
O water, creature of God, I exorcise you in the name of God the Father almighty, and in the name of Jesus Christ His Son, our Lord, and in the power of the Holy Spirit. I exorcise you so that you may put to flight all the power of the Enemy, and be able to root out and supplant that Enemy with his apostate angels: through the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who will come to judge the living and the dead and the world by lire. Amen.
Let us pray.
O God, Who for the salvation of mankind has built Thy greatest mysteries on this substance, water, in Thy kindness hear our prayers and pour down the power of Thy blessing + into this element, made ready for many kinds of purifications. May this, Thy creature, become an agent of divine grace in the service of Thy mysteries, to drive away evil spirits and dispel sickness, so that every- thing in the homes and other buildings of the faithful that is sprinkled with this water may be rid of all uncleanness and freed from every harm. Let no breath of infection, no disease-bearing air, remain in these places. May the wiles of the lurking Enemy prove of no avail. Let whatever might menace the safety and peace of those who live here be put to flight by the sprinkling of this water, so that the healthfulness, obtained by calling upon Thy holy name, may be made secure against all attack. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son, Who lives and reigns with Thee in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever.
R. Amen.
The priest mixes a little salt into the water.
May a mixture of salt and water now be made in the name of the Fa + ther, and of the + Son, and of the Holy + Spirit.
R. Amen.
V. The Lord be with you.
R. And with your spirit.
Let Us Pray.
O God, Creator unconquerable, invincible King, Victor ever-glorious, Who did hold in check the forces bent on dominating us, Who did overcome the cruelty of the raging enemy, Who did in Thy power beat down the wicked foe:
Humbly and fearfully do we pray to Thee, O Lord, and we ask Thee to look with favor on this salt and water which Thou has created. Shine on it with the light of Thy kindness. Sanctify it by the dew of Thy love, so that, through the invocation of Thy holy name, wherever this water and salt is sprinkled it may turn aside every attack of the unclean spirit and dispel the terror of the poisonous serpent. And wherever we may be, make the Holy Spirit present to us who now implore Thy mercy. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son, Who lives and reigns with Thee in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever.
R. Amen.”
Felipe,I have asked the holy women to pray on your behalf, and that of your Staff, may God hear their prayers.
please give me your valued opinion. It is a pleasure communicating with you.

…….UNA ETERNA SONRIZA SU ALMA…….
MARY
Me gustaría saber tu opinión.
Saludos.
Saludos
A Response for Mary Lua
Dear Mary,
Thank you kindly for your Blessings. Please pray for priests with the following prayer and do not forget to ask Saint Joseph to help us also.
Prayer for Priests
by St. Therese of Lisieux
O Jesus, eternal Priest,
keep your priests within the shelter of Your Sacred Heart,
where none may touch them.
Keep unstained their anointed hands,
which daily touch Your Sacred Body.
Keep unsullied their lips,
daily purpled with your Precious Blood.
Keep pure and unearthly their hearts,
sealed with the sublime mark of the priesthood.
Let Your holy love surround them and
shield them from the world’s contagion.
Bless their labors with abundant fruit and
may the souls to whom they minister be their joy and consolation here and in heaven their beautiful and
everlasting crown. Amen.
To thee, O blessed Joseph, do we have recourse in our tribulation, and, having implored the help of thy thrice-holy Spouse, we confidently invoke thy patronage also. By that charity wherewith thou wast united to the immaculate Virgin Mother of God, and by that fatherly affection with which thou didst embrace the Child Jesus, we beseech thee and we humbly pray, that thou wouldst look graciously upon the inheritance which Jesus Christ hath purchased by His Blood, and assist us in our needs by thy power and strength. Most watchful guardian of the Holy Family, protect the chosen people of Jesus Christ; keep far from us, most loving father, all blight of error and corruption: mercifully assist us from Heaven, most mighty defender, in this our conflict with the powers of darkness; and, even as of old thou didst rescue the Child Jesus from the supreme peril of His life, so now defend God’s Holy Church from the snares of the enemy and from all adversity; keep us one and all under thy continual protection, that we may be supported by thine example and thine assistance, may be enabled to lead a holy life, die a happy death and come at last to the possession of everlasting blessedness in Heaven. Amen.
These prayers have Canonical approval; you may pray them with permission of Holy Mother Church.
Please pray for the Holy Father.
Mary, “Benedicat vos Omnipotens Deus”.
(and to everyone else: does anyone know why Christ left the Levitical priesthood?)

Ora Pro Nobis.

Saludos.
Pablo those are some really nice prayers, thank you for posting them. Are you familiar with this website?
www.fisheaters.com
You probably know of it but if not I highly recommend it. There is a disscussion forum that is great as well.
God Bless
Dios les bendiga a todos
Thank You, Abel.
I very much appreciate the website information.
Many of us thirst. It has been about fourty years since our spiritual water began to dry up. Where do we go, and what do we do? How do we become Catholic again? Even those of us who have been to mass every day for the last fourty years are no longer truly Roman Catholic. Many who defend the current state of affairs in every Roman Catholic Church in the world do not have a leg to stand on.
The Holy Sacrafice of the Mass as established by Jesus Christ was never abolished and the common one adopted fourty years ago was never properly approved. Vatican documents and subsequent Papal public statements are the basis for these statements by me. Also, the prayers I posted in my last mail were known by heart by every Catholic in the world previous to fourty years ago.Pray for the Holy Father.
Pointing out a problem without offering a solution is to become part of the problem. The FishEaters website is very good as it offers a Catechism for those wanting to learn the faith.
One thing we all can do to learn our faith is to find out Who and What Christ Is and Was.The following consideration on Christ and His Priesthood:
THE MELCHIZEDEK PRIEST
HEBREWS 7:1-28
And Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; now he was a priest of God Most High.
And he blessed him and said, “Blessed be Abram of God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth; 20and blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” And he gave him a tenth of all. (Genesis 14:15-20).
Genesis 14 is a chapter from the family history of the origins of Israel. It tells the story of how Abraham’s nephew, Lot, was swept up into the military doings of the ancient world and of how Abraham himself played a role in that history.
Lot and Abraham had parted company. Uncle Abraham had given Lot free reign to choose whichever part of the land he wished and he chose the Valley of Siddum, known today as the Dead Sea. But it was not dead in that day. Rather it was a lush, fertile valley, reminiscent of the Garden of Eden. Lot settled in Sodom, the sin city of antiquity.
And then a day came when a messenger arrived at the tent of Abraham with terrible news. A coalition of kings from the east had invaded and had taken Sodom and enslaved all of its inhabitants — including Lot. Abraham immediately organized a rescue party. In a brazen display of faith and courage, he caught up with the raiders and attacked them by night, putting them to route and recovering not only his nephew, but all of the wealth and citizens of Sodom.
However the most unusual part of this tale took place on the return journey. It was here that Abraham was met by a new figure; a mysterious priest-king known as Melchizedek. The Scriptures tell us that they met, that Melchizedek brought bread and wine and a blessing, and that Abraham rewarded him with a tenth of all. And that is all. Melchizedek is not mentioned again in the rest of Genesis nor anywhere in any of the historical books of the Old Testament. And although there is a veiled prophecy in the Psalm concerning him, the significance of this figure is an unsolved mystery. Until now.
The writer to the Hebrews has already made mention of Melchizedek and that Jesus is a priest after that ancient order (Hebrews 5:6; 5:10: 6:20). The last such mention was in the last verse of the previous chapter. And this time, the writer will explain fully what he means.
INTRODUCING MELCHIZEDEK
For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met Abraham as he was returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him, to whom also Abraham apportioned a tenth part of all the spoils, was first of all, by the translation of his name, king of righteousness, and then also king of Salem, which is king of peace.
Without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, he remains a priest perpetually. (Hebrews 7:1-3).
The theme of the epistle to the Hebrews is that Jesus is better. He is better than the prophets and He is better than the angels and He is better than Moses and He provides a better rest than that which was promised by Joshua. In the last several chapters, we have seen that Jesus is a better high priest. This automatically brings an objection: How can Jesus be a better priest if He is from the tribe of Judah? All priests in the Old Testament were required to be of the tribe of Levi and specifically from the descendants of Aaron. The answer to this objection will be that Jesus is of a priesthood which predates that of Aaron — one which goes back all the way to Abraham.
We don’t know a lot about Melchizedek. He emerges from the pages of antiquity to have his brief encounter with Abraham, he pronounces a blessing, accepts Abraham’s gift, and then once again disappears into the pages of history. We don’t know much about Melchizedek, but there are several things that we do know.
1. His name: By the translation of his name, king of righteousness (7:2).
The name “Melchizedek” is a compound of two Hebrew words which have been joined together.
o Melech is the Hebrew word for “king.”
o Zedek means “righteousness.”
What’s in a name? When we name children, it is often only because we like the sound of it. But names in the ancient world were full of meaning, especially among the Jews. Names were given to tell something about the character of the person.
This is why you occasionally see a person whose name is changed. This was the case of Abraham - his name was changed from Abram (”father of high places”) to Abraham (”father of a multitude”).
2. His Domain: King of Salem, which is king of peace (7:2).
“Salem” was evidently one of the ancient names for the city of Jerusalem. Before this city became the capital of Israel, it belonged to a people known as the Jebusites. Their city was alternately known as “Jebus” and “Salem.” Its name today reflects a composite of these two names: Jeru-salem.
But remember, names have meaning. And the meaning of which we are reminded is the fact that it was named as a city of peace.
Now that is an interesting name for Jerusalem, for the history of this city has been a history of war and of conquest. It has been anything but a city of peace — with one notable exception. It was the city where the Prince of Peace came to present Himself. It was the city where the God of Peace located His temple.
Here is the point. The kingship of Israel could only trace their roots back to David. The priesthood of Israel could only trace their roots back to Aaron. But there was a priest-king residing in Jerusalem, the city of God, long before the time of either David or Aaron. And He is a pattern of God’s true priest-king, Jesus Christ.
3. His Genealogy: Without father, without mother, without genealogy… (7:3).
The past kings of Israel before the Babylonian captivity traced their genealogy back to king David. The priests of Israel traced their genealogy back to Aaron — those priests returning from Babylon who could no longer give evidence of their genealogy were not permitted to serve any longer as priests.
But the first priest-king had no genealogy. He appears from obscurity out of the pages of history. We know nothing of his origins and we know nothing of his death. And in like this, he is likened to the Son of God.
You might be thinking, “Wait a minute, Jesus had a genealogy! How can you say that Jesus is like Melchizedek because he has no genealogy?” The answer is found in the pre-existence of Jesus. Though he has a human genealogy, He also existed before He was born. He appears in the very beginning: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1).
Here is the point. The priesthood of Jesus is a better priesthood because He never had a beginning and His priesthood has no end. He will ALWAYS be our high priest. He will always be the basis for our forgiveness and our fellowship with God.
This is the basis for our disagreement with Islam. Muslims believe that Jesus was a prophet from God, but that they have a better prophet in Mohammed. But the Bible teaches us that the priesthood of Jesus is an eternal priesthood. It will never go out of date. It will never be superseded the way that the Old Testament priesthood has been superseded.
MELCHIZEDEK AND THE TENTH
Now observe how great this man was to whom Abraham, the patriarch, gave a tenth of the choicest spoils.
And those indeed of the sons of Levi who receive the priest’s office have commandment in the Law to collect a tenth from the people, that is, from their brethren, although these are descended from Abraham.
But the one whose genealogy is not traced from them collected a tenth from Abraham and blessed the one who had the promises.
But without any dispute the lesser is blessed by the greater.
In this case mortal men receive tithes, but in that case one receives them, of whom it is witnessed that he lives on.
And, so to speak, through Abraham even Levi, who received tithes, paid tithes, for he was still in the loins of his father when Melchizedek met him. (Hebrews 7:4-10).
The superiority of the Melchizedek priesthood is evidenced by the fact that Abraham gave a tithe — a tenth of all the spoils of war. Why did Abraham give this offering to Melchizedek? It was because Abraham recognized in Melchizedek a priest of the Most High God.
Now we come to the point of comparison. Both Melchizedek and the Aaronic priesthood are legitimate priests of God. But the most that you could say about the Levitical priests is that they receive tithes from the children of Abraham. They never received tithes from Abraham himself. But Melchizedek did.
Sons of Levi Melchizedek
Descendants of Aaron. No father or mother mentioned.
Priests of God. Priest of God.
They receive tithes of the descendants of Abraham (7:5). He received a tithe from Abraham (7:6).
The Israelites were commanded to give a tithe (7:5). Abraham voluntarily gave a tithe.
They are mortal - subject to death (7:8). He lives on (7:8).
They can be said to have paid tithes while being “in the loins of Abraham.” He never paid tithes to anyone.
Abraham was special to the Jews. He was the Patriarch — literally, the “first father.” Abraham, the father of the Jewish nation, was blessed by Melchizedek and responded to that blessing by giving to him a tithe of all of the spoils.
This is significant. It is significant because of the underlying principle of blessing. The principle is that the lesser is blessed by the greater (7:7). We see this principle illustrated in our relationship with God.
You might bless God in the sense that you praise His name. But you are not able to do anything for God to assist Him or to help His condition or to improve His situation. You aren’t big enough to do anything to help God.
But God is able to bless you. He is able to bless you because He is greater than you are. When He blesses you, then you stay blessed.
Verses 8-10 give another reason why Melchizedek is a better priest than the sons of Levi. It is because they can be said to have paid tithes to Melchizedek in the sense that Abraham paid those tithes and they were in the loins of Abraham.
THE SUPERIORITY OF MELCHIZEDEK
Now if perfection was through the Levitical priesthood (for on the basis of it the people received the Law), what further need was there for another priest to arise according to the order of Melchizedek, and not be designated according to the order of Aaron?
For when the priesthood is changed, of necessity there takes place a change of law also.
For the one concerning whom these things are spoken belongs to another tribe, from which no one has officiated at the altar.
For it is evident that our Lord was descended from Judah, a tribe with reference to which Moses spoke nothing concerning priests.
And this is clearer still, if another priest arises according to the likeness of Melchizedek, 16 who has become such not on the basis of a law of physical requirement, but according to the power of an indestructible life.
For it is attested of Him, “You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.” (Hebrews 7:11-17).
The principle here is that the Levitical priesthood was always meant to be temporary. It did not bring perfection or completeness. The reason that we know that it was meant to be temporary is because the Old Testament Scriptures promised a future priesthood in Psalm 110:4 — one who would be a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.
Now if there was to be a change of the Old Testament priesthood, and such a change was promised in that same Old Testament, then it follows that there was also to be a change in the Law which mandated the that Old Testament priesthood (7:12). This is why the Lord could be of the tribe of Judah instead of from the tribe of Levi.
Is it a problem that Jesus was not of the tribe of Levi? It is not a problem if the new Melchizedek priesthood is not on the basis of a law of physical requirement (7:16).
The priests of the Aaronic priesthood had no moral or spiritual qualifications to pass in order to become priests. That is evident when you look at some who served as priests. God struck dead two of the sons of Aaron for using improper methods of worship. He condemned the immoral acts of the sons of Eli who were turning the Tabernacle into a brothel. The only requirement for the Aaronic priesthood was that the priest must be able to trace his ancestry back to Aaron.
What then is the requirement for the Melchizedek priesthood? Can simply anyone claim to be a Melchizedek priest? After all, the Mormons make exactly that claim. What is to stop such a claim? The answer is seen at the end of verse 16. The requirement for belonging to the Melchizedek priesthood is the power of an indestructible life (7:16).
We read in the Bible of the death of Aaron, of his sons, and of every other priest. But the Scriptures are silent regarding any death for Melchizedek. And though Jesus died upon the cross as our sacrifice for sins, He has risen from the dead and has demonstrated the power of an indestructible life. It is because of the resurrection that was can say of Him that He is a priest after the order of Melchizedek.
PERFECTION AND A PROMISE
For, on the one hand, there is a setting aside of a former commandment because of its weakness and uselessness 19 (for the Law made nothing perfect), and on the other hand there is a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.
And inasmuch as it was not without an oath 21 (for they indeed became priests without an oath, but He with an oath through the One who said to Him, “The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind, ‘you are a priest forever’”); 22 so much the more also Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant. (Hebrews 7:18-22).
The writer continues to contrast the priesthood of the Old Covenant with the priesthood of the New Covenant.
Old Covenant Priesthood New Covenant Priesthood
A priesthood of the descendants of Aaron A priesthood after the order of Melchizedek
On the one hand, there is a setting aside of a former commandment because of its weakness and uselessness On the other hand there is a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God
They became priests without an oath. His priesthood was sealed with an oath from God.
In what way was the Law “weak and useless”? It was weak and useless in that it did not accomplish that which it mandated. The only thing that the Law was able to do was to condemn the transgressor of that Law. It could only drive men away from God. But Jesus is able to do that which the Law could never do. He is the One through whom we are able to draw near to God.
Furthermore, the priesthood of Jesus is a better priesthood because it was accompanied by an oath. We saw in the last chapter that when the Lord could swear by no greater, He swore by Himself (6:13). He did not do this lightly. And He did not do this often. There are not a lot of oaths which the Lord swore. But one of those oaths was regarding the Melchizedek priesthood. The priesthood of Aaron was never accompanied by an oath. But the priesthood of the Messiah was. And this means that Jesus is our guarantee that the Lord’s promise of a better covenant has come to pass.
PERMANENT VERSUS TEMPORARY
The former priests, on the one hand, existed in greater numbers because they were prevented by death from continuing, 24 but Jesus, on the other hand, because He continues forever, holds His priesthood permanently.
Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. (Hebrews 7:23-25).
Someone might want to advance the argument that the priesthood of Aaron was better because there were so many priests. Isn’t it better to have a history of hundreds of high priests rather than to only depend upon one?
But the reason there were so many high priests throughout this history of the Old Covenant is because they kept dying out. The high priest would die and then it would be necessary to find a successor to become the high priest. And then he would grow old and die and they would need another. And another and another.
The Levitical Priesthood The Melchizedek Priesthood
They existed in greater numbers There is only Jesus.
They were prevented by death from continuing He continues forever, holding His priesthood permanently
There is no replacement for Jesus. None is needed. When He died upon the cross, He arose from the dead and ever lives to perform His priestly duties.
SINLESS VERSUS SINFUL
For it was fitting for us to have such a high priest, holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners and exalted above the heavens; who does not need daily, like those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the sins of the people, because this He did once for all when He offered up Himself.
For the Law appoints men as high priests who are weak, but the word of the oath, which came after the Law, appoints a Son, made perfect forever. (Hebrews 7:26-28).
The final point of comparison between the Levitical Priesthood versus the priesthood of Christ is a moral comparison. We have a high priest who is holy, innocent, and undefiled. Though He was identified with our sins upon the cross, He is separated from sinners and exalted above the heavens. This is in contrast to the Levitical Priesthood.
The Levitical Priesthood The Melchizedek Priesthood
Before any high priest entered into the temple, he first had to offer up a sacrifice for his own sins. Jesus was without sin and so was able to enter, not an earthly tabernacle, but heaven itself.
For the Law appoints men as high priests who are weak. The word of the oath, which came after the Law, appoints a Son, made perfect forever.
Both Aaron and Melchizedek served as a type of Christ. But there is nonetheless a difference between the two. Aaron served as a type of Christ with regard to his position as High Priest. Melchizedek served as a type of Christ with regard to his person.
Now we know Who and what Christ was. Before the 1960’s little Catholic School children knew this about Christ. How many of us today can say we are as catholic as the little children more than fourty years ago?

buenas tardes
Dear Brenda,
I am certain the people at Creer Mexico did not think badly of Padre Morales. As Roman Catholics we understand all priests have the same blessings and authority of the Priesthood given them by Jesus Christ when He established His priesthood. The situation you speak of happened because someone allowed pride to overule their charity and now you feel badly. the Holy Father has spoken on what we, as Catholics should do in these situations. For your consideration:
Let us fix our attention on the blood of Christ and recognize how precious it is to God His Father, since it was shed for our salvation and brought the grace of repentance to all the world.
If we review the various ages of history, we will see that in every generation the Lord has offered the opportunity of repentance to any who were willing to turn to him. When Noah preached God’s message of repentance, all who listened to him were saved. Jonah told the Ninevites they were going to be destroyed, but when they repented, their prayers gained God’s forgiveness for their sins, and they were saved, even though they were not of God’s people.
Under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, the ministers of God’s grace have spoken of repentance; indeed, the Master of the whole universe Himself spoke of repentance with an oath: As I live, says the Lord, I do not wish the death of the sinner but his repentance. He added this evidence of His goodness: House of Israel, repent of your wickedness. Tell the sons of my people: If their sins should reach from earth to heaven, if they are brighter than scarlet and blacker than sackcloth, you need only turn to Me with your whole heart and say, “Father”, and I will listen to you as to a holy people.
In other words, God wanted all his beloved ones to have the opportunity to repent, and He confirmed this desire by His own almighty will. That is why we should obey His sovereign and glorious will and prayerfully entreat His mercy and kindness. We should be suppliant before Him and turn to His compassion, rejecting empty works and quarrelling and jealousy which only lead to death.
Brothers, we should be humble in mind, putting aside all arrogance, pride and foolish anger. Rather, we should act in accordance with the Scriptures, as the Holy Spirit says: The wise man must not glory in his wisdom nor the strong man in his strength nor the rich man in his riches. Rather, let him who glories glory in the Lord by seeking Him and doing what is right and just. Recall especially what the Lord Jesus said when He taught gentleness and forbearance. Be merciful, He said, so that you may have mercy shown to you. Forgive, so that you may be forgiven. As you treat others, so you will be treated. As you give, so you will receive. As you judge, so you will be judged. As you are kind to others, so you will be treated kindly. The measure of your giving will be the measure of your receiving.
Let these commandments and precepts strengthen us to live in humble obedience to His sacred words. As Scripture asks: Whom shall I look upon with favor except the humble, peaceful ma
